Frequently asked questions
Everything customers usually want to know before booking — pricing, scheduling, what we can take and where it all ends up. If your question is not here, just call and ask.
Costs, quotes and scheduling
Junk removal is priced by volume — how much room your items take up in the truck — plus any disposal fees that apply to the material. A single mattress costs far less than a full garage, so we price each job on what is actually there.
You get one all-in number that covers labor, hauling and disposal before any loading begins. Quotes are free and you are never obligated to accept.
The fastest way is a photo. Email a picture of the pile to bookyourjunkpro@gmail.com or text it to (813) 731-0155 and we can usually give you a close estimate right away.
Mention any stairs, long carries, gate codes or parking limits — those affect the time involved, and telling us upfront means the on-site price matches the estimate.
Often, yes. We hold space in the schedule for urgent work — real estate closings, move-out deadlines, lease hand-backs and storm debris. Same-day and next-day slots depend on how the day is already booked.
Call (813) 731-0155 and we will tell you honestly what is still open rather than promising a window we cannot hold.
Yes. Like all hauling companies we have a minimum that covers sending a truck and crew to your address and paying the disposal fee at the facility. Even so, single-item pickups such as a mattress, sofa or appliance are straightforward and affordable — just ask for the price.
Payment is collected once the job is complete and you are satisfied with the result. We accept major credit and debit cards, cash and common digital payment apps.
Businesses, contractors and property managers can request an invoice for their records — just let us know when booking.
Not always. For curbside piles, rental turnovers and estate properties we can often work from photos and written instructions, confirm the price by phone, and send you photos once the job is done. Many property managers and out-of-state owners book us this way.
What we take and how we work
No — that is the entire point of hiring us. Show the crew what needs to go, wherever it sits: upstairs, in the attic, behind the shed or at the back of a packed garage. We carry it all out.
Stairs, elevators, long carries and tight hallways are included in your quote, not billed as extras.
Just about any non-hazardous household, office or construction material, including:
- Furniture, mattresses, box springs and bed frames
- Appliances — refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters
- Electronics, TVs, monitors and office equipment
- Boxes, bags, clothing, toys and general household clutter
- Carpet, tile, cabinets, drywall and renovation debris
- Yard waste, branches, fencing and storm debris
- Hot tubs, sheds, playsets, trampolines and above-ground pools
- Exercise equipment, pianos and large safes (call to confirm)
Regulations prevent us from hauling hazardous materials. We generally cannot accept:
- Paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel and household chemicals
- Asbestos and other regulated building materials
- Medical, biohazardous or chemical waste
- Propane tanks, ammunition and explosives
Not sure about an item? Call (813) 731-0155. We will give you a straight answer and can usually point you toward the correct county drop-off site.
Yes. Disassembly is a normal part of what we do — sheds, swing sets, hot tubs, above-ground pools, deck railings, fencing, shelving and oversized furniture that will not fit through a doorway.
That teardown labor is quoted together with the hauling so you see a single total upfront.
Yes. Your Junk Pro is licensed and insured for both residential and commercial work. Property managers, realtors and general contractors who need documentation on file before we work on their property can request it when booking.
We take this seriously. Doorframes, railings and flooring get protected before heavy items move, and we use dollies, straps and blankets rather than brute force. If something genuinely cannot come out without damage, we stop and talk to you first instead of pushing ahead.
For most residential jobs, yes. A dumpster means a permit in some areas, your driveway blocked for days, paying for rental time you do not use, and doing all the loading yourself.
With us, a crew arrives, loads everything in one visit and leaves. Dumpsters still make sense for long multi-week construction projects where debris accumulates daily.
Where it goes and where we go
Landfill is our last resort, not our default. Items in usable condition — furniture, working appliances, housewares, tools — are routed to local donation partners. Metal, appliances, electronics, cardboard and yard waste go to the appropriate recycling and processing facilities.
Only what genuinely cannot be reused or recycled is taken to a licensed disposal site.
Absolutely — and we are happy to. Set the items aside or point them out when we arrive and we will keep them separate and drop them at a donation center rather than the dump. This comes up constantly on estate and downsizing jobs.
We cover Tampa and the surrounding Tampa Bay communities:
- Tampa & South Tampa
- Brandon, Riverview & Valrico
- Plant City & Apollo Beach
- Lutz, Wesley Chapel & Temple Terrace
- Carrollwood & Westchase
Just outside that list? Call anyway — we regularly travel a little further for larger cleanouts.
We are available seven days a week — Monday through Saturday 7am to 7pm, and Sunday 8am to 4pm. Weekends are popular for garage and estate cleanouts, so book ahead when you can. For commercial clients we can also schedule outside business hours.
Yes, and we approach these jobs without judgment. Heavily cluttered properties need more time, more care and often several truckloads. We will walk the property, give you a realistic plan and price, and work at a pace that lets you review items before they leave.
Everything is handled discreetly — unmarked boxes, no commentary, no photos shared.
Ask us anything
